This is the first time someone with no affiliation to Reliance Jio can jump onto the network. Prior to this, Reliance Industries has unveiled a referral programme in which employees can offer the experience to 10 select friends. And From now on, Reliance Lyf has confirmed that the Flame 3, Flame 4, Flame 5 and Flame 6 smartphones will all be available at a price of Rs 2,999. We had reported yesterday that Reliance Lyf had introduced price-cuts for its smartphones across the spectrum and the Flame brand is now the most affordable 4G one.
At Rs 2,999 Reliance Lyf is a pretty good deal if you consider the free Jio preview every customer is getting with these smartphones. Essentially you’ll be paying Rs 2,999 for the phone, and will get 3 months of 4G data free on Reliance Jio.
Currently the only way to get a Reliance Jio SIM is to buy a Reliance Lyf smartphone. The smartphones are available at Reliance Retail and all of them support 4G VoLTE. All Flames smartphones have a front and rear camera with Flame 3 and Flame 5 featuring a 5 mp rear camera and 2 mp front camera. Flame smartphones are customised to operate on 10 different Indian languages. All four smartphones run Android 5.1 OS.
The dual-SIM slots allow users to use 4G on both SIMs, although at one time only one slot can be used for 4G while the other will work on 2G.
By offering these Reliance Lyf smartphones at Rs 2,999, the company has essentially made a 4G/VoLTE device available to customers at the lowest possible price. Considering these phones come with Reliance Jio 4G data as well, the deal doesn’t sound so bad.

The LYF handsets are being sold at between Rs.5,490 and Rs.19,399. The smartphones come bundled with three months of unlimited data and 4,500 minutes of calling.
