With the growing popularity of dental bleaching over the last number of years, and the number of outlets offering teeth whitening services, patients could be forgiven for getting confused about this dental treatment. Teeth whitening is quick, easy and inexpensive and is a great way to improve your smile. In most cases, the menthods followed to get shiny crystal white teeth is not that effective and also have chemical side effects.
These chemicals at times hurt the tooth enamel and leave us with sensitive teeth. Our teeth consist of enamel, the outer white covering that protects the tooth. Beneath the enamel is Dentin, the hard yellow material that carries the nerves. They both play an important role in the colour of the teeth. The unhealthy food habits effect the enamel and corrodes the colour of our teeth, which worsens with age. The damaging habits of food and drink, breaks open the enamel and unwraps the dentin within which amplifies sensitivity.
Teeth yellowing can be due to several factors including hereditary, unhealthy food habits and your oral hygiene. Not realized at the initial stage leads to acute diseases at a later age.
To avoid damage to your teeth, try some easy home remedies to get glossy white teeth forever.
